Growling Tummy Monster

Yesterday I was thinking that this band thing might be easy. Today...well, today I was hungry. Like really hungry. Almost pre-band hungry. The difference was that I was satisfied with much, much less food.

Unfortunately, my stomach decided it was really freaking hungry about 2 hours after I ate every time.

I kept my calories around 1100 for the day, but I white-knuckled it the whole way. I am definitely looking forward to that first fill tomorrow. I'm a little nervous about it, but I think my hunger level today was my body saying, "Look lady, this is why you got the band. Get the damn fill. Of course this isn't easy. Duh."

In other news, I received my Medic Alert bracelet in the mail today. I ordered it on Etsy because I wanted something pretty that could pass for just another piece of jewelry instead of something generic. It came out really nice! I tried to take a picture of it, but the words came out totally obscured. I'll try again tomorrow.

The Ambien is kicking in, so I'm off to sleepy-land.

Thanks! I'm having a cup of coffee and getting ready to head to my appointment. @Holl - yes, the bracelet is for the band. It says my name on the front and "Gastric Band - No NG" on the back. My surgeon's office said to get it. It's so if anything happens to me, the paramedics/hospital knows to not use a naso-gastric tube on me because that could puncture the new, tiny stomach.
