This is Impossible, Right?

(I am SO glad I have photographic evidence so y'all don't think I'm hallucinating.)

I took a photo for the final day of the challenge yesterday:

A perfectly respectable 216, considering that I was nearly 224 last week.

Then this morning, I stepped on the scale and saw this:

What the [bleep]? 207.2? Where did over 8 pounds go since yesterday? I stepped off and on about 8 times to see if it would change if I put my feet in different places or whatnot. Nope - 207.2 every time.

That's impossible, right? My scale has to be broken.

I wish I had some time to run by the surgeon's office and weigh this morning, but I have to be at work (45 minutes away) at 8:00 AM because I have an appointment this evening.

Thoughts?

I think that its unlikely but would really want to believe it! Do you have a drug store with a scale you can use just to check?

When I had flucuations like that I would replace the batteries, because I have always found that to be the problem. best of luck to you!

I'd replace the batteries. My scale started getting dodgy like that just before the batteries went. I'd get consistent reading doing the get-on/get-off thing. But given 20 minutes between get-on's would give me 5-7 pound variations.

Nonetheless...I sure hope it sticks!
